I saw a man on TikTok say that people only cheer for you in life in two instances:
1. When you're starting out, and
2. When you're at the finish line.
In that middle part, it's only you, self-doubt, maybe some tears, and a dream gripped with paling knuckles. The middle part is the boxing ring. You’re fighting yourself and fighting for the version of you that doesn't exist yet. But you see them. And perhaps they see you, and that's why you fight so hard.
No one is cheering, but they are watching. So fight. Fight for the future you know is already yours–ignore what life looks like around you and fight. Spar with the b*tchy voice in your head that tells you you’ll never be enough–hit it with a right hook encased in a goddamn bedazzled boxing glove.
Go head to head with the people who look down on you because you dare to dream of something more– OK, don't actually get physical, that's like illegal, but you know what I mean.

Fighting for your future is messy, but if you can dream it, you can and will do it. By any means, fight for what's yours. You want this so badly because future you already has it. It’s already yours–go take it and go win.
All things considered, remember this: strength without rest is just self-destruction. Fight for future you and recuperate for future you.
Now order yourself a matcha or something, idk–but like I said: you want it so badly because it's already yours. Now go get it.
With love and band-aids for your bruises,
